Dr. Elam graduated from Truman State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of
Science in Biology. He completed his medical degree at Kirksville College of
Osteopathic Medicine in 1983. His internship was served at the Deaconess
Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Elam is married with three daughters and he
is an avid hunter and golfer.
